New Tech Plastics was founded over 45 years ago out of necessity and a shared vision. John Weikert, Bill Weikert, Buck Siler, and Lew Coppock set out to build a first-class company that would become a leader in the plastics industry.
Through hard work and dedication, that vision became reality. New Tech Plastics grew to $25 million in sales with 15 blown film lines, all while maintaining a deep commitment to its employees and the local community. That commitment remains strong since the company was acquired by Flexible Packaging Partners (FPP) in February 2025.
Today, under the ownership of Jonah Sandler, Les Sandler, and Shawn Turner, FPP is proud to carry on New Tech’s legacy. With a passion for innovation and growth, New Tech Plastics is poised to exceed expectations and continue delivering exceptional products that help our customers grow their market share.
